Because colours vary between screens, we offer a free sample pack so you can see the quality and colours before you buy.

Choosing the right pier caps for your project.
- All of our pier caps are available with a pyramid top or flat top, and can be pre-drilled for fitting finials such as balls or lighting.
- Our standard sizes range from one brick to four brick base widths, with other sizes made to order.
- We have a range of decorative additions including rope courses and balls in different sizes.

About Pier Caps
What are pier caps?
Pier Caps, also known as Pillar Caps, are the ornamental tops you often find on pillars at each side of a gated entrance, or on a raised end of a wall pier. Pier caps perfectly complement a wall topped with coping stones in either a matching or contrasting colour.
How pier caps protect your wall.
As well as being aesthetically pleasing, pier caps provide a seal to protect the brickwork or stonework beneath them. The decorative sides on a cap overhang the wall so the rain water falls away from the pier, reducing water stains and wear on the wall surface.
Our durable cast stone provides many years of protection for your wall and ages naturally just like quarried stone. Our standard pier cap moulding has a 30mm to 70mm overhang to shelter the wall surface from rain. See our pier cap technical specifications for more details.
Our styles.
A ‘pyramid’ top is the most popular style giving the best protection from the rain. A shallower peak is often the best choice for shorter piers, whereas a steeper angle gives taller pillars of 5ft or higher a more prominent look.
Flat top caps offer the same protective seal and are often chosen to mount finials such as balls or lighting. We can pre-drill all pier caps to fit finials if required.
For a contemporary look, some of our customers prefer straight sides on their pier caps instead of decorative moulding. We make these with a smaller overhang and a drip line, which is a groove underneath the pier cap that collects water and drips it away from the wall.
